Email to Members 14th March 2020
As a consequence of the Coronavirus outbreak we are cancelling our outstanding programme of speakers and meetings for this season, those on, 20th March, 3rd April and 17th April 2020.
We are also deferring the AGM which was set for 8th May 2020 until 28th August 2020. The AGM is arranged for the week before the start of our formal programme on 4th September when Roy Evans’ talk will be “An Edwardian Village”. I am seeking to re-arrange the cancellations so that we might enjoy those talks later in our 2021 Programme.
We will remind you and indeed update you if necessary in the interim period prior to the AGM by email and phone those without email.
You can keep up to date with events (COVID-19) as they affect the Club by making reference to the website:
You can also check on the Programme of speakers for next season on the website “Programme” page.
We will let you have printed copies of the programme for the new season at the AGM in late August.
In the meantime please enjoy the Spring and Summer and we look forward to seeing you all again in late August.
